Adotomi Morphs Into Adquant, Touts 'Holistic Optimization'

Adotomi, one of Facebook’s “preferred marketing developers,” is expanding its scope beyond the social giant. To make the move official, the social media agency will henceforth be known to the world as Adquant.

Joe McCormack, the ad shop’s CEO, is determined to make the Adquant name synonymous with what he calls “holistic optimization” -- an approach to social advertising that applies algorithmic automation to the workflow and optimization algorithms to the full set of social campaign elements.

“The Adquant approach remains the same -- simple workflows … and much better results for our clients,” McCormack said. That means going beyond bid management to include targeting, landing pages, budgets, and creatives.

The Adquant name was previously used to denote the agency’s internal Facebook platform.

Founded in 2007, the shop’s clients include Nissan, SodaStream, OMD, and online betting brand William Hill.
