
CBS
has struck a fall in-store retail marketing deal with Yogurtland for all eight of its comedy series.
Starting Friday, Sept. 13 and through Monday Sept. 30, Yogurtland will offer
series-branded frozen yogurt flavors, as well as in-store branding for CBS shows -- the yogurt retailer’s first TV network marketing effort.
In addition, on Monday, Sept. 23 -- the
first day of the TV season -- Yogurtland will offer free five ounces of frozen yogurt from noon to 6 p.m.
Here are CBS’ returning shows and their yogurt-inspired flavors: “The
Big Bang Theory” – “Penny’s Cheesecake” (NY Cheesecake), “Howard’s Strawberry Space Adventure” (Fresh Strawberry) and “Sheldon’s Bazinga
Blueberry” (Blueberry Tart); “How I Met Your Mother” -- “Plain with Robin Sparkles” (Plain Tart), “How I Met Your Mocha” (Almond Midnight Mocha) and
“Barney’s Legend-Berry Tart” (Maqui Berry Tart); “Two and a Half Men” -- “Two and a Half Pistachios” (Pistachio); and “2 Broke Girls” –
“2 Broke Graham Crackers” (Cinnamon Graham Cracker) and “Max and Caroline’s Cupcake Batter” (Red Velvet Cupcake Batter).
New shows include: “We Are
Men” – “We Are Man-go” (Mango); “The Millers” – “Chocolate Miller Shake” (Chocolate Milk Shake); “Mom” –
“Mom’s Hot Cocoa Meltdown” (Peppermint Hot Cocoa); and “The Crazy Ones” – “Cookies & Crazy Ones” (Cookies and Cream).
CBS says this fall
lineup of eight comedies is the biggest slate of comedies since the start of the 1997 season.
Yogurtland stores in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Miami, and Dallas will participate
in the promotion. Yogurtland lets customers create self-serve frozen yogurt brands, where they can choose up to 16 yogurt flavors and topping
