Content marketing was the No. 1 topic of interest during Advetising Week, according to daily on-site surveys conducted by PulsePoint of 2,000 attendees of the event held Sept. 23-27. The runner-up hot topic was mobile, followed by social media and Big Data.
Among other findings, Apple was named “Best Advertiser,” followed by Nike and Coca-Cola. Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg was named “most influential speaker” of the confab, and Google was place most wanted to work, ahead of Apple and Twitter. Of course, that was before Twitter’s IPO filing, which may have tilted things more in its favor. Google, no doubt, got a boost from “The Internship.”
