Mobile start-up Drawbridge has hired ex-Google and AOL executive Kate Burns to lead its EMEA business in London. Burns, named VP, EMEA sales and business development at Drawbridge, is a former
director of Google U.K. and ex-CEO of AOL EU.
Burns is the second ex-Google to join Drawbridge, whose technology allows marketers to target users across PCs, tablets and mobile phones, in
the last month. Eric Rosenblum, former director of product for Google Offers joined the San Mateo, Calif.-based company in September as vice president of product.
Most recently, Burns had
started her own management consulting agency, Accelerate, and served as a board advisor for social mobile startup LoopMe.
Drawbridge CEO Kamakshi Sivaramakrishnan said Burns’ experience
with Google and AOL in Europe would help fuel the company’s international growth. Drawbridge has raised $20.5 million in venture funding to date from investors, including Sequoia Capital and
Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
