Tremor Misses Q3 Revenue Analysts Predicted, Takes a Tumble

Tremor Video on Thursday said its third quarter revenue was $35.3 million, a 17% increase over a year ago when it was still a privately-held digital video advertising company. In-stream revenue was $34.4 million, up 19%.

But its net loss was $2.2 million, or five cents a share. Its non-GAAP earnings per share was 0.00.

Analysts had expected revenues of about $36.3 million, TickerReport.com had reported, so Tremor missed that mark by just short of $1 million.

At the closing bell on the NYSE. Tremor was at $9.26, down 89 cents, in a day the overall stock market, overheated lately, was experiencing its largest decline since August, with the Dow down 152.90 points. Tremor Video was down sharply in after-hours trading.
