Havas has launched a social business consultancy called Havas Re: Purpose.
The shop said the new unit is designed to help clients “drive sustainability and social responsibility as a
consumer-facing, commercial growth strategy.”
Sharon Johnson has been appointed to lead Re: Purpose, the agency said. She has worked with a number of non-profits and foundations, and
earlier served as strategy director at Havas Australia.
According to agency research in 20 countries, 72% of consumers said companies are “failing to deliver in terms of people, society
or the environment.”
“The key to the future of business is sustainable inclusive growth,” said Havas CEO David Jones. “Business can and must be a force for good and we
have both a responsibility and an opportunity to find sustainable ways to operate and grow.”
