Ad Agency Life As Bad As A Marriage Gone Sour

“Ad agencies are corporate soul-stealing war zones that leave you feeling raped at the end of each day’s shift." Sound familiar? If you've spent any time working for an ad agency, it should. But did you know that sentence is also an apt description of a lackluster marriage? At least that of a certain creative director named George whose wife, Lisa -- described by the writer of this article as a "gorgeous lithe thing" (we'll skip right over the blatant sexism there) -- appears to have turned into a Cruela de Vil following a blissful period of dating and marriage. This ever happened to you?

Espousing the "want to spend more time with the family" mantra, Anheuser-Busch InBev VP of Marketing Paul Chibe is stepping aside and will be replaced by Jorn Socquet, currently the brewer's Canadian VP of marketing. Of his exit and his work on the brand's upcoming Super Bowl ads, Chibe toldAdvertising Age: "I'll see the Super Bowl through and once the Super Bowl is through it's kind of a natural break for a transition. I can tell you 1,000 percent I feel very good about what we have coming in the Super Bowl. I am very happy about where we are going to be."

Car dealers caught deceptively advertising? Oh really? And we are supposed to be shocked? Four LA County car dealers --Honda of Hollywood, Norm Reeves Honda of Cerritos, Casino Auto Sales of La Puente and Rainbow Auto Sales of South Gate -- were found to have been deceptively advertising by the FTC and have agreed to a settlement. The infringement? The usual stuff. Screaming too-good-to-be-true deals in large type with the fine print claiming the deal is only available after a hefty downpayment. No fines were levied, but the dealers agreed that future transgressions would result in $16,000 fines.

I heard the family objected to the desire to spend more time with them and now he's looking for work
