Rosetta,
the Publicis Groupe digital shop, continues to beef up its executive leadership team. The agency has just named Peter Kang as executive creative director, overseeing the creative execution of the
agency's Technology and Telecommunications Group, a new position at the agency.
Kang is joining Rosetta from Los Angeles-based Digital Kitchen and will remain based in Los Angeles.
Rosetta has gone on a hiring spree since Tom Adamski was named the agency's new CEO in April 2013. Adamski succeeded Chris Kuenne, who became chairman at the time but two weeks ago said he was
stepping down to focus on other projects, including a new private equity firm Rosemark Capital Group.
Since Adamski stepped up to CEO, Rosetta has named Lars Bastholm, the former chief
creative officer at Cheil USA, as global chief creative officer. Also former Mindshare executive Scott Sorokin, was tapped as chief strategy officer and Joe Lozito moved from sister agency Digitas to
become Rosetta's chief technology officer. Additionally, Jeff Thaler left Mindshare to serve as Rosetta's managing partner and program management officer, and Gary Schechner was named partner and head
of marketing, while Tammy Soares was promoted to managing partner.

These executive additions and promotions are the result of growth and demand, says Lars Bastholm, global chief creative
officer, Rosetta. "We've been really busy,” he said. “And we're planning to do more hiring."
The agency doesn’t disclose financial numbers but it’s believed that the
shop had double-digit revenue growth over the past two years. Recent new client wins include Lenovo, Coach and Nationwide Insurance.
"We're not a garden-variety agency,” said
Bastholm. “Our three aspects come together to form deeper insights." The agency's offering is built on consulting, layered with technology, and a creative unit that develops strategies and
campaigns.
Now, Rosetta is focused on global expansion. The agency recently opened up an office in London to serve as a hub for European activity and is looking to open additional offices in
Southeast Asia, particularly China, and South America.
