NDN Picks Google's DoubleClick for Ads

NDN, the news-oriented online video platform reaching more than 49 million monthly
unique viewers, said it will begin using Google's DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) as its ad server across its global platform.

That's a good get for the recently refurbished DoubleClick because NDN covers a broad area and it's a big push ahead for the DFP brand.

More officially known as News Distribution Network, NDN, without a lot of fanfare is usually ranked amont the top online video properties by comScore and in December finished fifth.
Its partners include AP, CBS, Bloomberg, AFP and  Fox Sports and it distributes to almost every major newspaper Website in the U.S. Content providers and distributors share revenues.

""In the past we've used FreeWheel and Auditude which are both respected video ad servers," said Eric Orme, NDN's chief operating officer in an email response to questions. "However we chose to migrate to DFP because it allows us to serve display and mobile advertising in addition to video. For a platform of our magnitude, streamlining all of our ad serving through one ad server is an ideal solution."
