Airpush, OpenX Launch Private Mobile Ad Exchange

Airpush and OpenX this week announced a partnership to launch a new private mobile ad exchange dubbed AirX, AdExchanger has reported. The exchange will combine OpenX’s global real-time bidding (RTB) exchange with Airpush’s ad network of over 120,000 Android apps.

The companies claim AirX will offer “one of the largest pools of mobile apps that can be accessed programmatically.” They said it will give advertisers access to roughly 30% of the world’s Android installation base.
