At the closing session of the first day of OMMA at SXSW, some thoughts were shared about the best mobile ad campaigns you haven’t seen.
The best mobile ads of the year not created by
his shop, Rob Griffin, EVP, global head of Digital at Havas Media, showed his top three:
- Enriching Facebook: Nissan
- SMS is not dead: Ford
- Geotargeting for relevance:
Columbia jackets.
He noted that it was neither expensive or difficult, and also added that agencies alone will not solve problems for consumers solely by leveraging mobile to meet
consumer needs.
