Jaywing, formerly known as 20:20 Group, has bought search engine specialists Epiphany in a deal worth £12m now with a further £6m available, depending on performance.
The search
agency was formed in 2005 and has 140 staff working on accounts including Tesco, Axa Insurance and Virgin Holidays.
Founders Shane Quigley and Robin Skidmore will remain involved in the
company. Quigley will work on product development while Skidmore is to focus on the company's social PR agency, Shackleton.
Group CEO Rob Shaw will continue to run Epiphany.
