Baja Fresh Dives Into Digital With Real-Time Data

The Baja Fresh quick-casual Mexican chain has launched its first mobile/digital promotion, and is tracking basket size and individual items purchased, as well as redemptions, to enable the honing of ongoing efforts.

The chain is running promotions on Google Search, Facebook, Yelp, Opera Mediaworks and UberMedia, and will assess the effectiveness of each individual channel with real-time redemption data.

The efforts are part of Baja Fresh's “Catch 2” Seafood Taco combo deal, in which consumers can mix and match seafood tacos and add a third taco for 99 cents. With the mobile promotion, consumers are eligible to receive $2 off an $8 order, or $5 off a $15 order. 

Baja Fresh, which is using the Sparkfly platform, is starting with a two-month campaign in Los Angeles, with more than 60 different restaurant locations participating.
