Global digital marketing agency Interakt has appointed Elijah Degen global head–digital solutions. Previously, Degen led computer giant Lenovo’s digital marketing strategy and is credited with helping to lift the company to the top spot in the worldwide PC market.
The agency said Degen will help launch its new Resulticks marketing automation platform designed to help marketers reach customers across an array of online and off-line channels.
Redickaa Subrammanian, CEO and chief strategist at Interakt said that Degen “knows how to leverage advanced concepts and platforms to develop technology-enabled marketing campaigns that resonate across cultures and accelerates brand growth in global markets."
Degen spent five years in China managing Lenovo's digital marketing practice for emerging markets before taking on the lead digital marketing strategy role.
Earlier he held several posts at Discovery Communications, the last being director of project management.
Interakt is headquartered in Singapore, with nine offices including New York, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Dubai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Mumbai. Degen is based in San Francisco.
