Rocket Fuel on Friday announced the completion of its acquisition of [x+1], a programmatic ad tech company with both a demand-side platform (DSP) and data management platform (DMP). The company first announced its plans to acquire [x+1] in early August. The deal was worth roughly $230 million.

Per a blog post announcing the close of the deal, Rocket Fuel plans to combine its own DSP with [x+1]’s marketing hub by “as early as Q4.”
