Michael Epstein Adds Chief Client Officer Duties At Carat USA

Carat Chief Strategy Officer Michael Epstein is taking on the added role of chief client officer U.S. In his new role, Epstein will oversee all of the U.S. client teams across Carat’s offices in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles and San Francisco. He succeeds Steven Feuling in the client services role. Feuling is now U.S. CEO at Carat sibling agency Vizeum.

Epstein will retain oversight of the agency’s strategy, insights and intelligence, and convergence planning teams, and will continue to report to Doug Ray, U.S. & global president of Carat.

Epstein joined Carat as its first chief strategy officer in May 2013. He is credited with helping win new business from clients including Danone, MasterCard and others.

“As we help our clients evolve to meet the demands of today’s convergent media landscape, strategic leadership is required to connect their business objectives with innovative media solutions across our account teams in the U.S.,” said Ray. “In just one year, Michael has proven to be a strong leader with the ability to approach our clients’ challenges from a broader business perspective, not just a media standpoint."
