Prolific Interactive Bulks Up In San Francisco

Brooklyn, NY-based Mobile shop Prolific Interactive has hired two industry veterans to strengthen the management team in San Francisco.

Anne Sophie Hurst has been tapped to run the SF office as Managing Director and Isaac Newton has been appointed VP of Business Development.

In addition to running the San Francisco office, Hurst will “support business development by recruiting great talent, nurturing our West Coast client relationships, and making sure that our SF team is happy and productive throughout the changes we expect in 2015."

Newton said he’ll focus on “ways to optimize our company positioning, identify our target client base and collaborate with our internal teams to make sure we're focused and aligned as we work towards taking Prolific to the next level.”

The two executives have spent the last seven years working together at Fluid, an e-commerce agency located in San Francisco and New York. While at Fluid, Newton served as Global Vice President of Business Development and was responsible for managing partnerships for the company, while Hurst served as Fluid’s Senior Client Services Director and helped Fluid grow overall from 40 to 150 people.

The appointments come at a time of growth for Prolific, which has doubled in size annually for the last three years. In fact, the agency has expanded over the past five years from a start-up of only a few people to a bi-coastal team of more than 50.

“The addition of Isaac and Anne Sophie to Prolific's San Francisco office enables our team to have a stronger presence on the West Coast, and adds an incredible amount of experience in the retail and e-commerce space," says Prolific COO Dan Healy.
