Bemis Manufacturing a global manufacturer of toilet seats and other household products, has selected Milwaukee-based ad agency Hanson Dodge (HD) to be its first-ever agency of record.   

The decision followed a competitive review. HD will be responsible for strategy, creative, media and production for the 125-year-old Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin-based company.  

“As we look to the future, we are focused on elevating our brand, expanding our reach, and accelerating our growth” said company vice president of marketing TJ Stiefvater. “To support this, we are advancing our marketing efforts in more intentional and innovative ways.”  

Spending on advertising and media was not disclosed.  

HD’s focus will be on building awareness for Bemis toilet seats and bidets, with work expected to break later this year.  

The win is the latest in a string of new business assignments for the agency this year. It has also added the 30 Seconds Cleaners and Harris Cleaning brands from PurposeBuilt Brands, Festa oven-ready Pinsa Crusts, Pet Supplies Plus, the Nature and Culture Museum of Wisconsin, and an additional assignment from its existing IFS Softeon account.
