Trixie Ferguson Gray has been appointed Senior Partner, Branded Content & Experiences MediaCom, an agency within WPP’s GroupM division. It’s a newly created
position at the agency. Gray reports to Mark Fortner, Managing Partner and Head of Innovation.
Last year the agency repositioned itself as the “Content + Connections” agency where content is the driver of all media work the agency delivers. The agency says that Gray
will have a “significant role” in shaping client plans vis a vis the new positioning. She is tasked with leading content strategy, custom program development and activation for
clients across MediaCom.
Gray joined MediaCom from Maxus, a GroupM sister agency, where she led insights, creative strategy and media ideation for clients NBCUniversal and UPS as well as for
new business pitches.
Prior to joining Maxus, Gray was VP, Experience Architect and a member of the Content and Experiences team at UM, where her work earned her a bunch of awards including an
Effie for her contribution to the launch of MasterCard’s Priceless New York campaign.
