Hispanic agency Grupo Gallegos won Best Idea of the Year honors Tuesday night at the Fourth Annual U.S. H. Idea Awards which were presented at a gala Tuesday night at the Colony Theater in Miami. Grupo Gallegos won for an ad called “Brave,” for client California Milk Processor.
The awards, presented by Circulo Creativo in partnership with AHAA: The Voice of Hispanic Marketing, are designed to honor the work of the industry’s most strategic and creative thinkers.
Forty-three campaigns earned 57 awards, following a review by an international jury panel. In addition, five campaigns were selected as the “Best in Show,” including the “Brave” effort from Gallegos.
Ranked number two-ranked campaign of the year was titled, "The Volvo Hijacking Car Service," from the agency We Believers for client Volvo North Miami.
Number three on the Best in Show list: "Más Que Un Auto," from
agency Conill for client Toyota. Fourth Best in Show: “Snow Graffiti," from agency Lapiz for client Mexico Board of Tourism. Rounding out the top five: "Los Cabos Reselfies," also from
Lapiz for Mexico Board of Tourism.
