Amazon has announced four new integrations with Angi, Expedia,
Square, and Yelp — coming to Alexa+ in 2026 — to give users choice.
For advertisers and brands, the partnerships and automation enable visibility to be tied directly to real-time
utilities and local data to support lead generation, AI-driven conversational advertising and marketing, sponsored prompts and customer matching.
The integrations also show that advertisers no
longer just buy "space" or "impressions," but need to move to a place where the AI assistant acts as a gatekeeper and facilitator for the shift from keywords to conversational intent.
Daniel Rausch, vice president of Amazon Alexa and Echo, said that through agentic technology, personal assistants must connect consumers with all types of services. “Every new integration we
add brings Alexa+ closer to handling more of life’s everyday tasks, changing how customers interact, discover, and book services,” Rausch said.

Customers will have the ability to
book hotels, request quotes for home services, and schedule appointments at a hair salon, among other services, through Alexa+’s agentic capabilities.
Alexa+ customers will have the
ability to interact with the experience through voice, touch, or text on compatible Alexa-enabled devices and in the app.
The assistant will access Angi's catalog of business to help customers
book the appropriate service they need. Once a customer asks Alexa+ for a service, it will show different recommendations pulled from all integrations and offer different options that meet the
customer's request.
Integrations with Angi and Yelp will expand the number of home services available to customers with Alexa+. Angi, but it’s not clear whether the agentic capabilities
will compare services on both platforms.
With Yelp, Alexa+ will surface business reviews and local home services by searching its extensive database of local businesses.
The
integration with Expedia is expected to create a complete conversational travel booking experience — giving consumers a new way to discover hotels and vacation rental options that meet their
needs.
Alexa will respond to customer requests to find, suggest, compare, book, and manage hotel bookings globally using Expedia’s data inventory on hotels, motels and more. Customers
will be able to tell Alexa their hotel preferences to receive personalized recommendations, and Alexa can complete the booking for them.
Amazon’s example focused on an upcoming trip.
Customers can ask questions such as: “Alexa, I’ll be in Rome in two months. What are some boutique hotels downtown for under $200 per night?” or “Can you find me some
pet-friendly hotels for a weekend in Chicago?”
Throughout the conversation, customers can refine options by sharing preferences for elements including location, room type and price. When
they are ready to book, they can complete their reservation directly through Alexa.
Square’s integration with Alexa+ will allow customers to discover local beauty and wellness providers
in Square’s network such as spas, hair and nail salons, barbershops.
In addition to gaining visibility into scheduling availability, users can make, manage, and reschedule appointments
with service providers directly through Alexa.
