Thetrainline.com’s media account is up for grabs, putting incumbent Vizeum on alert. The Drum understands the account is worth circa GBP4m. Vizeum beat Manning Gottlieb OMD and PHD to the
account in 2008 as part of the online ticket retailer’s wider strategy to reposition the brand. Thetrainline.com has since experienced rapid growth, and now claims to be the UK’s fifth
largest e-commerce brand with over 20 million visits a month.
