Rosetta Teams With IBM to Launch Marketing Platform

Rosetta and IBM are aligning to launch an IBM-powered version of the NEXUS Operating System, which integrates customer data and interactions across all major touchpoints. The new partnership with IBM expands the Rosetta-designed operating system to include IBM Commerce solutions and deeper analytics capabilities to help brands engage with their customers.

“The Nexus OS gives clients an unmatched ability to apply insights, personalization and contextually relevant branded experiences across the entire customer journey at enterprise scale,” said John Mesberg, general manager, offering management & strategy, IBM Commerce. “Leveraging IBM’s offerings to power the Nexus OS will position Rosetta to work with our customers to connect the core pillars of data, intelligence, customer experiences and optimization.”

Nexus was originally introduced more than five years ago and was successfully deployed for a major video game manufacturer and global telecommunications company. In March, the agency partnered with Adobe to expand its capabilities with the Adobe Marketing Cloud, which processes more than 30.5 trillion transactions a year, including 2.5 trillion mobile transactions. Nexus is available for clients across the Publicis.Sapient platform, including those of Razorfish, DigitasLBi and SapientNitro.

“We’ve seen a dramatic increase in the number of clients wanting to partner with us to harness data and technology to drive engagement with their customers,” said Rosetta Chief Executive Officer Eric Healy. “Nexus creates the next generation of customer engagement: predicting the needs and desires of customers, sometimes before they even know themselves.”

Rosetta will also work with IBM to build a comprehensive suite of IBM Commerce solutions within the Nexus OS platform that will give its clients a deeper level of analytics.

This agreement illustrates the increased focus Publicis Groupe is placing on the omni-channel marketing approach, increasing in demand by clients. In March, Publicis.Sapient acquired and aligned Expicient to Rosetta. Expicient is a global omni-channel services firm that significantly boosts offerings in inventory and order management.
