SpotXchange, a supply-side platform (SSP) for video advertising, on Monday announced the appointment of ad tech veteran Leon Siotis as managing director, UK and Southern Europe.

Siotis will join SpotXchange in July. He comes to the company from BrightRoll, another programmatic video ad platform, where he has held several positions, most recently as senior director of client and publisher development. Prior to BrightRoll, Siotis was EMEA demand development head for ad tech firm Rubicon Project.

“The industry has made incredible progress over the past five years, but [programmatic video] is still in its infancy with huge potential for growth,” stated Siotis, regarding why he’s staying in the programmatic video ad tech space.
