John Partilla Named CEO Of Screenvision

Agency and marketing veteran John Partilla has joined cinema advertising company Screenvision as the company’s new chief executive officer (CEO). He succeeds Travis Reid.

Partilla most recently was the CEO of Olson and the executive vice president of Digital Services Group of ICF International, which acquired Olson last year.

Partilla will focus on elevating Screenvision’s position in the broader video media landscape, integrating new and emerging technology, strengthening the preshow advertising platform, and creating additional content  for brands.

Prior to Olson, Partilla held senior leadership roles at media agencies and properties, including chief operating officer of Dentsu Network West; president, global media sales of Clear Channel Communications; and president, Global Media Group of Time Warner.

Partilla began his career at Young & Rubicam, where as managing partner he formed Brand Buzz in 2000, a digital division of the agency.

Olson issued this statement:

“JP joined us in 2013 and played a critical role in the process that culminated in Olson’s acquisition by ICF International. Since the sale to ICF, he has been primarily focused on the integration of Olson within ICF’s Digital Services Group.

The day-to-day operation of Olson has largely been in the capable hands of the agency’s executive leadership team, which includes Olson President Margaret Murphy, Olson Engage President Bryan Specht, Olson Canada President Mike Brown and recently announced Chief Creative Officer Kevin McKeon. The rest of our leadership team is solidly in-place and we do not anticipate any disruption as a result of JP’s departure. We wish JP nothing but the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
