Ad agency veteran Dan Wald has joined review consultant Joanne Davis Consulting as an associate partner.

Wald is a 30-year veteran of the marketing world who has served with a number of shops and brands. He has been involved in hundreds of reviews across multiple industries and channels.

Most recently, Wald was Chief Growth Officer at Pittsburgh-based Brunner. Earlier, he was SVP and new business director at Publicis Kaplan Thaler. Before that, he served within WPP and Interpublic and also worked client side at Citibank and Barnes & Noble.

Wald is  an author and penned Ad Asylum, an ad biz send-up that is centered on a big client review.

Joanne Davis stated she was pleased Wald would "work with clients to ensure agency reviews result in long-term, mutually profitable business partnerships. She added he "brings additional digital and below-the-line experience to our firm to support our increasing client roster."
