Springbot released two new product features on Friday to help Magento and Shopify retailers engage with consumers via social and email marketing.
Advanced Shoppable Instagram and Behavioral Trigger email adds expanded automated email marketing and Instagram sales tools to the ecommerce marketing platform.
Springbot taps into the social selling power of Instagram with its new Advanced Shoppable Instagram feature, which helps online merchants leverage social engagement to increase traffic and revenue.
Springbot’s integration with Instagram allows retailers to leverage real-world visual content from Instagram to market their goods, as well as customizing landing pages to minimizes time-to-purchase.
Advanced Shoppable Instagram also doubles as an email list recruitment and address-capturing device by incorporating a ‘remind me later’ button on Instagram that later converts into an automated email.
“A lot of marketers struggle to effectively re-market Instagram,” says Erika Jolly Brookes, chief marketing officer at Springbot. “A lot of discovery happens on Instagram, but email is still the main driver of commerce.”
Behavioral Trigger email expands Springbot’s automated email offering by segmenting email marketing based on the engagement levels of the email recipient, thus ensuring that the recipient receives the proper follow-up reminders without the risk of spam.
Springbot also announced the planned release of Social Hub on Friday, a new marketing management dashboard with real-time analytics and a social media stream.
Springbot’s Social Hub planned release date is late May, but both Advanced Shoppable Instragram and Behavioral Trigger email are now available as part of Springbot’s Pro and Pro+ monthly subscription plans.
Springbot will showcase all three new product features at the 2016 Magento Imagine Commerce conference in Las Vegas, April 11 – 13, in Lounge 412.
