Email marketing provider AWeber unveiled a new mobile application this week that curates browsed content into easy-to-send email newsletters.
Curate is a
mobile application that automatically formats and optimizes online content to be included in email newsletters. The newsletters can be customized with additional text, images and content by phone, and
then sent to subscribers via the Curate app itself.
Curate effectively turns browsing time into business development time, potentially erasing the time that many marketers and small business
owners take to format and optimize their emails.
Almost half of all small business owners double as email marketers, with 47% of SMBs acknowledging that they handle all email marketing for
their business themselves in a recent poll of 1000 small
business owners by Infusionsoft and LeadPages.
AWeber also recently released a small business marketing report that suggests small businesses owners who have embraced email marketing view it as a pivotal
component to growing their business, and that 83% of small business owners plan to increase their investment in email marketing this year.
“Smartphones and tablets are great devices for
consuming content,” says AWeber’s Director of Product, Joe Cotellese. “With Curate, you can quickly build up content for a newsletter while you're reading your favorite articles
online. The app makes it easy for you to share the best content from around the Web with your subscribers.”
Curate will be available for both iOS and Android users in May, adding to
AWeber’s repertoire of email marketing software for small businesses, which also include automated email campaigns, autoresponding and RSS-to-email conversion.
