New Data Privacy Rules Brought In As GDPR Approved

The European Commission today approved proposed tougher data privacy laws collectively known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and at more than 200 pages long, GDPR is one of the most wide-ranging reforms to be passed in years. They formalise concepts such as the "right to be forgotten," data portability, data breach notification and accountability.
