Leaving the European Union could cost the UK GBP70m in terms of ad-spend growth every year, equating toGBP GBP1bn by 2030, according to research by Zenith. The media
agency explained that Brexit would lead to a drop in economic growth in the long term, which would cause ad spend to fall. The report added that advertisers' short-term reaction to leaving the EU
is "likely to be minimal."
