Vemba, a video discovery and distribution platform, and SpotX announced on Wednesday a jointly developed product suite that manages the monetization and syndication of premium video.
The two companies are integrated via direct link giving publishers access to Vemba’s content, which is served using SpotX’s ad serving tools and programmatic infrastructure.
Content producers and owners benefit from a cross-channel distribution strategy, with a central hub from which to manage content syndication.
“Currently, content syndicators manage reach platforms and partner sites in separate systems, striking most syndication deals on a case-by-case basis. The combination of SpotX’s monetization tools and Vemba’s distribution platform enables video publishers to make pre-emptive decisions based on insight into the monetization opportunity,” stated Garrick Tiplady, CEO of Vemba.
Vice Media is an early adopter of the joint solution.
