Sizmek announced on Monday the release of Ad Builder 2.0, an updated iteration of its rich-media authoring tool. This version includes an enhanced user interface, upgraded functionality and a new set of 20 rich-media programmatic creative templates enabled for HTML5 ads on mobile and desktop.
Ad Builder 2.0 provides an end-to-end process from ad creation to ad serving, with analysis and analytics offerings. It will be applicable to instream, complex and high-impact ad formats, deliverable across all channels as well as through programmatic markets.
"Having a rapid authoring tool is an essential part of the programmatic workflow,” David Simutis, Sizmek's product marketing manager, told Real-Time Daily via email. “The automated efficiencies in buying and targeting lose effectiveness if the ad units aren’t quickly produced and well-designed.”
He added, "Ad Builder 2.0 further cuts down time to-live by offering both programmatic-ready templates and the ability to develop custom executions."
