Ram Truck Honors Everyday Heroes

Ram Trucks broke a spot on Thanksgiving Day honoring hard workers who take care of their families.

The 90-second spot Praise, from The Richards Group, debuted during NFL football games on CBS and FOX. The placement followed the Ram brand and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ pattern of breaking unique videos during high-profile media events. Nearly 55 million viewers watched the Thanksgiving Day football telecasts in 2015, according to Nielsen ratings.

From the single working mother of three to the grandfather who spent a lifetime in the mill, the spot honors all who labor to make their families and this nation strong. Throughout the video, a vast array of jobs and individuals are shown — including waitresses, janitors, foremen and fishermen — along with their homes and the precious moments they have to spend with their families before and after each workday.

The spot ends with the tagline “Praise the Work” and hashtag #RamGivesThanks. Ram social channels encourage fans to share what they are thankful for this holiday season using hashtag #RamGivesThanks.

In addition, Ram country music partners, including Easton Corbin and Maddie and Tae, will share what they are thankful for with their respective fans through videos and social postings. Additional information and content on #RamGivesThanks, including artist videos, will be updated throughout the remainder of the year on the RamLife link on the RamTrucks.com website.

The spot’s debut wasn’t the only Thanksgiving Day marketing for Ram. As the official truck of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, more than 25 Ram trucks towed all parade floats for the second consecutive year. An additional 45 trucks and Ram ProMaster commercial vans were used for behind-the-scenes functions leading up to the parade start.
