La-Z-Boy Touts Designer Service

La-Z-Boy brand ambassador Brooke Shields is back, this time touting the company’s free in-home design service.

A new spot, “Fast Forward,” focuses on the complete transformation of an empty room using La-Z-Boy furniture with the help of the retailer’s in-house designers. The goal of the campaign, created by La-Z-Boy’s agency of record, RPA, is to emphasize that La-Z-Boy is all you need to transform a whole room.

Part of what makes the La-Z-Boy shopping experience unique is its in-home design service, so it is consistently being communicated across channels, says Amy Hellebuyck, manager, brand content at La-Z-Boy.

The La-Z-Boy in-home design program was first introduced through its dealer network in 1992 and slowly rolled out across retail locations after that, she says.

“La-Z-Boy has highlighted in-home design in various ways throughout the years including through previous commercials, print advertising, the company’s Web site, digital channels and social media,” Hellebuyck says.

La-Z-Boy also occasionally tags its television creative with free in-home design messaging. When appropriate, it is even woven into branded entertainment integrations.

The spot will run on TV heavily between February and April. After that, it will be rotated in with the other spots that Shields has appeared in. It will also appear on YouTube and in pre-roll.
