Martech firm Jivox on Thursday named Shankar Venkataraman senior vice president of engineering, a new position at the company.

He will lead the company's artificial intelligence-based programmatic creative platform and work with agencies and marketers.

Venkataraman joined Jivox from Everstring, where he served as chief technology officer. Prior to that, he was chief scientist at Marketo, and chief technology officer for IBM Analytics.

Jivox also named Anna Luo vice president of customer innovation and marketing.

Luo, most recently senior director of marketing at Vidder, Inc., is tasked with managing the Jivox customer innovation program, which aims to create an open dialogue and collaboration with clients. She’ll lead marketing efforts, including integrated-marketing, and demand-generation strategy.
