Ecole Weinstein Departs Havas For FCB

Foote, Cone & Belding (FCB) Chicago is expanding its leadership team with the appointment of Ecole Weinstein as EVP, executive creative director. She will oversee the agency's creative work and help to foster a "culture of creativity across the agency," says FCB.

She reports to Liz Taylor, FCB Chicago's chief creative officer. She joins the IPG-owned agency from Havas Worldwide, where she was Group Creative Director and led work for Hefty, Reynolds, DISH, Moen, Sauza Tequila, and Effen Vodka.

Weinstein was recently named one of Business Insider’s 30 Most Creative Women in Advertising. This past November, she was behind Hefty’s highly publicized effort to eliminate the political ads dominating the media landscape.

Taylor says she was "impressed by her ability to deliver truly big ideas and craft them in fresh, unexpected ways. Her desire to create work that makes a mark on culture and her passion for partnering with clients ... will be integral as we continue our pursuit of legacy-making, equity-building ideas."

Weinstein is the latest creative hire by Taylor, who joined FCB Chicago last fall.
