Chicago-based Arc Worldwide, the shopper-marketing
agency aligned with Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett is expanding. It is opening two new offices and appointing seven new senior executives.
In addition to a New York office, the
agency is opening a location in Northwest Arkansas, which is home to Publicis Groupe client Walmart, headquartered in Bentonville.
The move follows two developments last year, including
Arc’s win of the MillerCoors retail business last November. A few months
earlier, retail giant Walmart consolidated its U.S. advertising business with Publicis Groupe.
“As we grow, we are continuing to increase our distribution of Arc operations around
the world for the benefit of our clients,” stated Bob Raidt, Global CEO, Arc Worldwide, referencing the two new office openings.
The added senior leadership, he said would “help
Arc stay close to consumers in a way that’s unique to the industry.”
The executive team, appointed by Karuna Rawal, U.S. president, Arc Worldwide, will lead the
agency’s experiential planning, data-driven shopper insights, as well as mobile-tracking and analytics initiatives.
The newly appointed executives include: Debbie Myszynski, EVP,
business leadership and director of commerce; Elizabeth Harris, EVP, director of strategy; Jenny Cacioppo, EVP, business leadership; Karl Wenzel, SVP, director of operations; John Lowell, EVO, chief
intelligence officer Billie Smith, EVP, talent management and HR operations, and Anna Gomez, CFO.
With the announcement, Arc also introduced its new brand positioning,
“Irresistible Commerce.”
