Land Rover Offers Consumers Adventure Trips

Land Rover has launched two adventure travel experiences in Namibia and Utah, both featuring the Discovery.

The eight-day Land Rover Namibia Adventure includes some of Africa’s unique scenery and wildlife, while the Utah Adventure offers five days of even more challenging driving amid a memorable backdrop. The trips afford the opportunity for guests to meet and share stories with fellow explorers.

The Namibia Adventure starts when guests get to know the Discovery with a briefing from a Land Rover Experience instructor. Guests can photograph epic sand dunes, spot the continent’s great beats in Etosha National Park and enjoy scenery where the Namib desert meets the South Atlantic Ocean. It departs on May 1 and costs $6,943 per person, based on double occupancy.

For those wanting even more of an off-road challenge, Land Rover’s Utah Adventure offers exhilarating drives around the south-western city of Moab. Red rock landscapes and the stark beauty of Arches National Park and the Canyonlands provide a dramatic backdrop for an action-packed drive. Guests will tackle the Seven Mile Rim, Poison Spider Mesa and the Hells Revenge Trails where they will put the vehicles through their paces. It starts on Oct. 21 and costs $5,250 per person, based on double occupancy.

Both trips include all Land Rover driving activities, accommodation, meals and airport transfers.

“These driving adventures will offer an exceptional driving experience where our customers will get the chance to push the vehicle to its limits and enjoy unforgettable surroundings,” says Mark Cameron, global experiential marketing director at Jaguar Land Rover, in a release.

The trips are being promoted online at a Land Rover microsite.
