Lutz Rejoins Starcom As US Investment Chief, Fills Richman's Vacancy

Publicis Group’s Starcom USA is adding to its leadership team following the announcement last week that Amanda Richman is departing for GroupM.

Kristina Lutz will replace Richman as president, investment to lead the agency's U.S. investment and activations teams. She will be responsible for all investment on behalf of Starcom USA’s client roster. She will work at the agency's Chicago and New York City locations.

Lutz is rejoining the network from iHeartMedia, where she spent the last four years and most recently served as EVP, leading automotive business development and client partnerships. Previously, Lutz spent 16 years at Starcom USA, working on a variety of accounts across strategy and investment, national and local, and across all media.

Meanwhile, two agency executives have received promotions. Danielle Gonzales and Karla Knecht are both being promoted to president and will share the title chief client officer.

Based in Chicago and Los Angeles, Gonzales has oversight of half of Starcom USA’s clients as well as the Starcom Los Angeles office. Knecht will also oversee half of the agency’s clients and will also have responsibility for Starcom’s Performics arm and the Starcom New York office.

All three report to Kathy Ring, CEO of Starcom USA.
