Online gambling company, 888.com, has been fined a record GBP7.8m for a technical failure that allowed 7,000 people who had asked to be barred from the service to carry on gambling. The authorities
also took a dim view of one customer who remained unchallenged despite gambling more than a million pounds on the site with funds stolen from their employer,
