Nielsen Begins Releasing Irma-Delayed 'Overnight' Data, Resumes Normal Schedule Soon

Nielsen Tuesday updated clients on release dates for data impacted by the disruption of its processing systems, due to Hurricane Irma.

“We are in the process of recovering from Hurricane Irma and returning to business as usual,” the company said in an email notification. “As such, we are currently processing local and national overnight data for Sunday, September 10 and Monday, September 11.”

Sunday’s overnight data for both national and local markets are expected to be released sometime today, the company said. Some of the data may not be released until after regular business hours.

Nielsen said Monday’s overnight data for local markets may also be released Tuesday, but that customers otherwise should expect to receive both local and national overnight data from Monday on Wednesday.

The company said it expects to resume its regular delivery schedule after all the delayed data has been released to clients.
