Sarah Michelle Gellar's Foodstirs Launches 'More Flour To Ya" Campaign

Celebrity Sarah Michelle Gellar (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer”) doesn't like to waste time. To coincide with her baking company Foodstirs, developed with partners Galit Laibow and Greg Fleishman, available in more than 7,500 stores this month, her team is embracing an unusually fast advertising approach.

Boulder, Colorado-based agency, Fortnight Collective created the campaign in under 45 days, with the strategic and creative development portions completed in two weeks.

This process centered around an "advertising hack," an immersive, one-day work session in which the agency’s creative and strategic talent worked in tandem with the client. Coming out of the hack, the team then identified the strongest ideas to advance into testing and ultimately production, accelerating the strategic and creative process.

The Foodstirs leadership team saw the work Fortnight Collective did for Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt and loved the tone. They felt it fit their brand perfectly.  Simultaneously, Foodstirs realized they needed an especially quick turnaround to capitalize on the high volume holiday baking season.

The “More Flour To Ya” creative focuses on empowering families to spend more time in the kitchen together. The media buy includes online films (manifesto video features voice-over by Gellar, digital, and social media, which will run through the holiday baking season.
