NBC To Stream Olympics Coverage For Military Service Members

NBC will stream free coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea to members of the U.S. Armed Forces, the company announced Wednesday.

During the Olympics in February, 2018, current service members, as well as the National Guard, reserve and veterans, will be able to stream the games through their desktop computers and mobile devices. The service is available in partnership with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, so users will need an Exchange login in order to watch the games.

NBC expects to produce more than 1,800 hours of Olympics coverage from South Korea. The company piloted a similar program for military service members during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
