GDPR Training Offered In Gamified Form

Email marketers who are confused about the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) can now learn about it by playing a game of sorts.  

Global Learning Systems (GLS) has launched “Journey to GDPR,” a gamified learning course that  takes learners on a run through what it calls "SecEurope. 

Utilizing badges, time challenges and leaderboards, the course presents users with data-handling challenges and asks them to make choices in line with GDPR.

The “Journey” is available in over 15 languages.

According to GLS, employees can gain an understanding of GDPR standards and the data privacy principles built into it.

GDPR takes effect next May. Violations can result in penalties of up to € 20 million or 4% of a company's annual worldwide turnover.
