
Video marketing platform company Innovid has
acquired real-time data analytics firm Taykey, the companies announced Thursday.
They plan to pair Innovid’s video views and data with Taykey’s contextual intelligence
dataset. The goal is to provide brands and media buyers with more information on the reach, engagement and context around their advertisements.
As part of the deal, Innovid will gain
access to Taykey’s technology, its data and intelligence platform and its 14 patents. Terms were not disclosed, though Taykey has raised $32 million since its founding in 2009.
