WMcCann has hired André Marques to serve as the agency’s creative vice president, effective January, 2018. An art director by trade, for the last three years Marques has been CMO at Habib’s, the popular Brazilian fast-food chain, with over 450 stores across the country.
Before joining the client side, Marques worked on the agency side, including Africa, which was named Advertising Age’s 2014 “International Agency of the Year,” where he worked with clients such as Brazilian private bank Itaú, AB-Inbev, Walmart, P&G and Heinz. He also held a leadership role as Salles Chemistri, part of Publicis Groupe, where he worked for clients such as GM and Centauro.
WMcCann is based in Sao Paulo.
