Snap's Ad Sales Chief Steps Down

Snap Inc., the parent company of the popular Snapchat app, is losing its top sales executive.

Jeff Lucas, who joined the tech company from Viacom in 2016, is leaving the company, according to multiple reports. Lucas will not be replaced, instead, four executives overseeing different sales regions will report to the company’s chief strategy officer Imran Khan.

The company has made a big push for programmatically bought video and photo advertising, with automated buys accounting for the bulk of the company’s sales last quarter.
