NBCUniversal has hired a handful of executives as part of an effort to beef up its effort in advanced advertising and alternative measurement solutions.
The new hires are
Ed Kozek, who will serve as senior vice president of ad technology; Pankaj Kumar, to be senior vice president of measurement and innovation; and Brian Norris, who will serve as senior vice president
of audience studio sales.
They “will be charged with building out and creating partnerships to develop NBCUniversal’s proprietary advertising products, technology
platforms and measurement approaches,” according to a statement from the company.
Last year NBCU hosted a conference to help figure out a path forward for cross-platform measurement, and
ways to change ad sales strategies to match changing measurements and viewership habits.
