Modern Acupuncture has appointed StrawberryFrog as its first AOR to help build awareness around the health and wellness franchise.
The client positions itself as an alternative to more invasive treatments like Botox by preventing wrinkles through cosmetic acupuncture in a spa-like atmosphere.
StrawberryFrog is tasked with developing a brand voice, look and “movement” as well creative initiatives across all platforms.
"Our ambition is to define a meaningful brand movement for a modern version of a three thousand year old, proven medicine," says Scott Goodson, founder, StrawberryFrog. “Creative opportunities do not come bigger or better in the beauty and wellness space.”
The agency’s previous work with European Wax Center was said to be a factor in the selection.
Modern Acupuncture is projected to have 60 stores open by year’s end, with a total of 500 licenses sold to date among 32 states.
