MullenLowe U.S. has appointed Kelly Fredrickson as president of the agency’s flagship office in Boston.
Fredrickson joins MullenLowe from Bank of America, where she spent a
decade, most recently as a senior vice president and channel marketing executive, overseeing advertising programming, agency management, and brand visual identity for the financial services
giant.
Fredrickson was responsible for strategic and creative leadership across all marketing channels and lines of business, including the Bank of America master brand and the Merrill
Lynch investment unit. She was the key Bank of America liaison for outside agency partners, as well as the head of operations for Bank of America’s award-winning internal advertising
agency.
In addition to her brand marketing bonafieds Fredrickson also has nearly a decade of experience working at creative agencies. She served as chief of staff at Modernista! working
on brands like Cadillac, Hummer, TIAA-CREF, and (RED). Earlier she was an executive vice president and creative manager at Hill Holliday, which, like MullenLowe, is part of Interpublic.

“The president’s job at MullenLowe Boston has three main parts, and Kelly is adept at them all—partnering with strategy and creative to make the work great; growing the agency by
delivering new ideas and value to existing and prospective clients; and, finally, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration,” stated Alex Leikikh, global chief executive officer of
MullenLowe Group, who has served as interim president of MullenLowe Boston while the search for a new president has been underway.
The previous president, Geoff Cottrill, left the agency last
May.
With nearly 500 staffers, Boston is the largest single office in the global MullenLowe Group network. Clinets include JetBlue, Royal Caribbean, American Greetings, and Burger
King.
